Submission Guidelines for USREI Articles

To maintain the quality and relevance of the content on United States Real Estate Investor (USREI), please adhere to the following submission guidelines:

Content Guidelines

1. Relevance:
   Articles must focus on various topics related to real estate investing, including but not limited to:

   • Beginner investing strategies
   • Market trends
   • Financing and loan insights
   • Case studies
   • Property management

2. Originality:
   All submissions must be original content that has not been published elsewhere. Articles will be checked for plagiarism.

3. Minimum Word Count:
   Articles must be at least 1,000 words.

4. Structure and Readability:

   • Use clear H1 titles, H2 and H3 subheadings.
   • Break up content with bullet points, numbered lists, or short paragraphs where appropriate.
   • Write at a 7th-grade reading level to ensure accessibility for beginners and most readers.

5. Tone:
   Content should be professional, friendly, and informative. Avoid overly promotional or sales-oriented language.

SEO and Backlinks

1. Keywords:
   Articles must include at least 3 target keywords, naturally incorporated into the content.

2. Dofollow Backlinks:

   • A maximum of 2 Dofollow backlinks per article is allowed.
   • Links must be relevant to the article topic and lead to high-quality, authoritative websites or the contributor’s relevant business pages.
   • Links to low-quality, spammy, or irrelevant websites will be removed.

3. Meta Description:
   Provide a brief, 1-2 sentence meta description summarizing your article (max 140 characters).

4. Excerpt: Provide a brief description that is different from the meta description to persuade readership (max 25 words).

5. Tags: Provide a single-paragraph list of 20 relevant tag keywords (eg: construction, solar, lending).

Formatting Guidelines

1. File Format:
   Articles must be submitted in one of the following formats: DOC, DOCX, or PDF (file size limit: 3MB).

2. Images:

   • Include relevant, high-quality images embedded within the article. USREI reserves the right to replace any or all submitted/embedded images to maintain platform styling.
   • Accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WEBP (image size limit: 5MB).
   • Provide proper attribution for any third-party images used.
   • Provide ALT tags for all submitted images.

3. Author Bio and Photo:

   • Include a short bio (2-3 sentences) about the author.
   • Submit a professional headshot in JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WEBP format (file size limit: 5MB).

Payment and Approval Process

1. Prepayment Required:
   Payment must be completed before the article is reviewed.

2. No Guarantee of Publication:
   Submissions are subject to editorial review. Articles may be rejected if they do not align with USREI guidelines or audience interests.

3. Editorial Revisions:

   • USREI reserves the right to make minor edits for grammar, style, or SEO may be made without prior notification or approval.
   • USREI reserves the right to make to make substantial edits if necessary. Substantial edits will be communicated to the contributor.

4. Refund Policy:
   Payments are non-refundable, even if the submission is not approved for publication due to the usage of review resources and man-hours utilized. To avoid article rejection, please, ensure you are delivering a high-quality product that fully follows USREI guidelines. Promotional Opportunities

1. Included and Optional Features:
   • Articles will be posted on available USREI’s social media channels and/or newsletters, at the discretion of the editorial team.
   • Additional promotional options, such as homepage features, may be available at extra cost.

Prohibited Content

USREI reserves the right to refuse and/or reject submitted articles containing any of the following:

• Plagiarism
• Unverified claims or misleading information
• Platform irrelevance
• Excessive self-promotion
• Sex or Pornography
• Violence or hate speech
• Cannabis, narcotics, firearms, or tobacco-related products
